Recognizing that scholarships are traditionally awarded to students with plans of pursuing a four-year degree, ETS’s former president William Turnbull founded CDA in 1969. Our mission is to provide scholarships to students attending two-year educational institutions or technical programs.

Helping students to fulfill their dreams of a higher education, these awards open doors and offer a lifetime of opportunities. Recipients are chosen based on financial need as well as high school academic achievement and work experience.

CDA is a nonprofit organization; every dollar donated is used for student scholarships.  Our operating expenses are covered by Board Member Volunteers.
