CDA Award Recipients

Taylor Basil

Taylor currently attends Hamilton High School West and Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center. She plans to attend the EMT program at Capital Health to become a certified EMT in Trenton.

Kathy Benitez

Kathy plans to attend Mercer County Community College. She currently attends Steinert High School  and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. Her goal for the future is to become a preschool teacher.

Crystal Jeffery

Crystal is a student at Hamilton High School North and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. She is planning to attend Mercer County Community College’s Visual Art department as a game design major. Her goal is to give gamers a more realistic feel to the games they love to play.

Timothy Miller

Tim is currently in the Electrical Construction program at Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center.  He also attends Lawrence High School. Tim’s plan is to learn everything he can about the electrical field.

Zaneta Pisarska

Zaneta currently attends Lawrence High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. Zaneta plans to complete her second year in Mercer County Technical School’s cosmetology program.

Karina Sanchez

Karina plans to attend Mercer County Community College for criminology. Her plan for the future is to become a police officer. Karina currently attends Trenton Central High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center.

Bryan Sapon

Bryan currently attends Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center, and is planning to complete his second year there in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program. He also plans to study business administration and management at Mercer County Community College. Bryan is the recipient of The Eric L. Toub Memorial Scholarship.

Rodrigo Segura

Rodrigo plans to study graphic design at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. His dream is to one day work at a freelance design company. Rodrigo currently attends Hightstown High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. He is the recipient of The ETS Turnbull Scholarship.

Nicole Sutton

Nicole plans to attend Atlantic Cape Community College for baking. She currently is a student at Hamilton High School North and  Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. Nicole is the recipient of the The Edward Jerome (Jerry) Moylan Memorial Scholarship.

Michelle Underwood

Michelle currently attends Princeton High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center this year. She plans to study education at Mercer County Community College, so that she can reach her goal to become a teacher at a daycare center. 

David Villafane

David would like to further his knowledge in carpentry by attending Triangle Tech. Currently he is taking classes in the Carpentry/Building Trades program at Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School. David is the recipient of The John Hobgood Memorial Scholarship.

Fredy Villanueva

Fredy attends Princeton High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center this year. He plans to continue at Sypek with plans of obtaining a degree in Auto Body Collision. He hopes to open his own auto body repair shop one day.

Andrew Warshany

Andrew is a student at Hightstown High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. He is planning to attend Mercer County Community College in order to become a videogame designer or programmer.

Kara Weigand

Kara plans to attend Mercer County Community College. She currently is a student at Lawrence High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center where she takes cosmetology classes.

Keona White

Keona’s future goal is to become a graphic designer. She will be attending school at Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography. Keona attends Hightstown High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. Keona is the recipient of The Kesner Dufresne Jr. Memorial Scholarship.
