2009 Award Recipients
Nick Andrejco
Nick currently attends Nottingham High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. He plans to pursue his study of culinary arts at Mercer County Community College. Nick’s goal is to one day open his own restaurant. Nick is the recipient of the The Edward Jerome (Jerry) Moylan Memorial
Sarah Brooks
Sarah would like to achieve her goal of working in the entertainment business, either in acting or film making. She will continue her education at Mercer County Community College. Sarah currently attends Steinert High School and the Performing Arts High School.
Matt Clark
Matt attends Hightstown High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. He wants to continue his education at Mercer County Community College and study automobile technology. Matt’s dream is to open his own business in the automotive field. He is the recipient of The Eric L. Toub Memorial Scholarship.
Joseph Commisky
Joseph plans to attend Mercer County Community College next year. One of his goals it to become a building inspector. Joseph currently attends Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center and Steinert High School. Joseph is the recipient of The John Hobgood Memorial Scholarship.
Jeff Covington
Jeff currently attends Hamilton High School West and Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center. Jeff plans to continue at the technical school and take classes in architecture and engineering. His goal is to get a good paying job in the architecture industry.
Jennifer DeLeon
Jennifer currently attends Princeton High School. She takes cosmetology classes at Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center. She plans to continue taking classes at the technical school so that she can receive her cosmetology license.
Shelby DiFalco
Shelby is planning to take culinary classes at Mercer County Community College. She attends Steinert High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. Her goal is to one day become the head pastry chef at her own bakery.
Nadia Gill
Nadia currently attends Steinert High School and Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center. Nadia plans to continue at the technical school and take classes in cosmetology. Nadia hopes to open up her own salon one day.
Megan Heinrichs
Megan is a student of Hamilton High School West. Her plan is to attend Harcum College in the fall and study veterinary technology. Megan looks forward to working at a major animal hospital and becoming a surgery technician. She is the recipient of the ETS Turnbull Scholarship this year.
Carolyn Potts
Carolyn plans to continue taking commercial art courses next year at Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center and Mercer County Community College. She has aspirations of becoming a commercial artist one day.
Toni Quagliato
Toni plans to take accounting and business administration classes at Raritan Valley Community College. Currently, she attends Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School.
Yanner Sandoval
Yanner intends to continue his schooling in auto mechanics at Mercer County Technical Schools-Sypek Center. In addition to the vocational program, he also attends Princeton High School.
Theresa Scotto
Theresa would love to become a hair dresser one day. In order to achieve this goal, she will continue attending Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink Center. Currently, she is also a student of Allentown High School.
Adam Vacirca
Adam’s goal is to get his Associate’s Degree in Energy Utility Technology at Mercer County Community College and start a career with PSEG. He has been taking classes at Mercer County Technical Schools-Assunpink.

CDA Award Renewals
Daniel Arena has been attending the PSE&G program at Mercer County Community College and plans to work as an electrician after he receives his Associate’s Degree.
Christopher Bernard attends Mercer County Community College and is pursuing his goal of working in the medical field.
Lindsay Bogdol is currently attending Mercer County Community College where she is planning to take veterinary technology classes.
Kelsey Capuano currently is taking business classes at Mercer County Community College.
Nicholas Crate attends Mercer County Community College where he is majoring in nursing.
Amy Diefenbach is attending Mercer County Community College with plans of becoming a nurse.
Jonathan Radley plans to receive his Associate’s Degree in Energy Utility Technology from Mercer County Community College.
